Submissions Policy

Introduction

Collective Edit Magazine welcomes thoughtful, original submissions from writers, artists and cultural contributors whose work aligns with our editorial focus on culture, fashion, politics, lifestyle, beauty and critical analysis.

This policy outlines how submissions are handled and the terms under which work may be considered.

We are interested in work that is:

  • Original and unpublished

  • Critical, reflective, or analytically driven

  • Culturally engaged and well researched

  • Aligned with the tone and scope of Collective Edit Magazine

We value clarity of voice, strong perspective and intellectual curiosity.

Submissions may be made by email or through any submission channels listed on the site.

Please include:

  • A brief pitch or summary

  • The proposed or completed work

  • Relevant context or background where appropriate

We aim to review submissions carefully, but due to volume we may not be able to respond to every enquiry.

Accepted submissions may be edited for clarity, length, style, or consistency with the magazine’s editorial standards. We aim to preserve the integrity and intent of contributors’ work throughout the editing process.

Payment terms, where applicable, will be communicated upon acceptance of a submission. At times, Collective Edit Magazine may publish unpaid editorial contributions. Where this is the case, it will be made clear in advance.
